Woman Axed in Jerusalem's Armenian Quarter

A man armed with an axe attacked a woman in her 50s in one of the Armenian quarters of Jerusalem. This was reported by Israel's National Medical Service.

It is noted that the woman is in serious condition, having sustained injuries to her upper and lower extremities. She has been hospitalized.

The assailant, who fled the scene, has been arrested.
