NATO Countries Hold Urgent Parliamentary Sessions on Ukraine Issue
Swedish authorities have urgently convened a parliamentary session to discuss possible negotiations for resolving the Ukrainian conflict, local newspaper Aftonbladet reports. According to Sweden's Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard, the region must support Kyiv.
In addition, Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat has reported that Finland has also called an urgent parliamentary session regarding Ukraine. The session was summoned by the country's Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, who also plans to speak with journalists after the meeting to discuss its outcomes.
Earlier, a meeting between Russian and American delegations concluded in Riyadh. Journalist Evgeny Popov noted that the negotiations lasted a total of 4.5 hours. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on the meeting held in Saudi Arabia, stating that it was very constructive. He remarked that in Washington, both parties have begun to listen to each other.
