Has Nikol Pashinyan Changed His Mind? "Hraparak"
In just a few days, on February 21, elections for the territorial council of the ruling Civil Contract party will take place in Kapan. Despite the fact that Nikol Pashinyan, after his visit in June of last year, personally instructed the dissolution of the council after seeing the situation within the structure, and promised to be present and oversee the internal party elections, sources from the Civil Contract party reveal that Pashinyan has changed his mind and will not travel to Syunik. It has reached his ears that some members of the party are continuing to operate in the same style—forming the party council through fraud and manipulation.
This was reported by the newspaper "Hraparak." Our sources from the Civil Contract do not rule out that after the elections, when he visits Kapan on March 27 to attend the "Artavazd" awards ceremony, he may again dissolve the council upon getting acquainted with the situation up close.
