US Secretary of State on Negotiations with Russia

Negotiations between the US and Russia regarding Ukraine have not yet begun. This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in an interview with CBS.

"...the negotiations have not started yet. After the launch, Kyiv and Europe will join them," he said.

He added that countries must ensure the normal functioning of embassies for negotiations to take place. Rubio noted that the issue of normalizing the operations of diplomatic missions was discussed during his phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
