Netanyahu to Open the 'Gates of Hell'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to destroy Hamas by eliminating the military capabilities of the Palestinian movement and toppling its power in Gaza if the militants do not return all hostages. This was reported by Kommersant.ru.

He added that the “unequivocal support” from the United States would assist Israel in achieving its goals. “We have a common strategy, the details of which we cannot present to the public, including when the gates of hell will open, which will certainly happen if all our hostages are not released until the last person,” Netanyahu stated after talks with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

According to Israeli authorities, 73 individuals remain in the captivity of Hamas. Following the ceasefire agreement, 14 civilians and five female soldiers held captive by Hamas have been released. The latest phase of the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners occurred yesterday, on February 15.
