Vučić on Trump's Potential Visit to Moscow on May 9

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has suggested that if peace is established in Ukraine, U.S. President Donald Trump could come to Moscow for the Victory Day parade.

In December, Vučić announced that he had agreed with Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico to travel from Belgrade to Moscow for the May 9 Victory Day parade.

“There are significant changes. We are monitoring what is happening; everything is becoming more complicated on one side between the U.S. and Russia, and on the other side, between Ukraine and Europe. I have confirmed that I am departing for Moscow on May 9, and at that time, Trump may also be present in Red Square,” Vučić's statements were cited by the portal of the publication “Večernje Novosti.”

The Serbian president stated on November 19 that if there is no “end of the world,” he would be present in Moscow at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin for the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism. In mid-December, Vučić announced that Slovakia's Prime Minister would also participate in the Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9.
