Trump's Oil Threats Against Iran Are Futile, Says IRGC

The commander of the naval forces of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Admiral Tangsiri, stated in an interview with an Iranian news outlet: “US President Trump has announced that he wishes to completely halt Iran's oil exports. But they will not be able to achieve their goals. We have been standing against them for 46 years. They cannot break the Muslims. Look at how the Muslims in Gaza have been resisting, with bare hands, against a brutal regime that kills children and spills blood for more than 15 months. It is clear that sanctions cannot break a greater nation. The more sanctions they impose, the greater achievements we attain.”

Admiral Tangsiri also mentioned that they possess the capability to close the Strait of Hormuz.
