Turkey Begins Air Operations

The Turkish Armed Forces have commenced air operations against militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in northern Iraq. This information was provided by the country’s Ministry of National Defense.

According to a statement from the ministry, during air operations carried out from January 29 to February 7, 2025, a total of 11 PKK terrorists were neutralized, seven of whom were in the Gara region and four in the Hakurk region. The Turkish Armed Forces continue to take preventive measures against terrorist organizations for the sake of our beloved homeland.
