Mass Failures of Chinese Cars in Russia

High atmospheric pressure observed in St. Petersburg has negatively affected the performance of Chinese cars. Drivers of the Haval Jolion have faced serious issues, as reported by Gazeta.ru.

Due to the high atmospheric pressure, which has persisted for the second consecutive day in St. Petersburg, problems have started to occur with Chinese Haval vehicles, said Haval Jolion owner Andrey on the car owners' platform drive2.ru. The check engine light has activated on his vehicle, indicating potential issues with the engine or other systems.

To understand the problem, the citizen went to a service station. “At the time I applied, I was already the 20th in line. By the time I approached, more than 40 calls had been received, and this was just from one individual dealing in car sales. During the diagnosis, the calls had already exceeded 60,” he stated.

A local small service shop called “Fontanka” confirmed that on February 8 alone, two Haval Jolion owners approached them with the same issue. They clarified that the problem was related to the increase in atmospheric pressure.
