Who Are the Arrested Individuals in the Controversial Mezavni Case
In the wake of the tragic incident that occurred in Mezavni, three individuals have been placed under two-month detention, while three others have been placed under house arrest.
According to reports from Haykakan Zhamanak, one of those arrested is Levon Grigoryan’s son, the former mayor of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation in Mezavni. He is identified as 37-year-old Paykar Grigoryan, who is more commonly known in Mezavni as Pash. The second detained individual is 30-year-old Marzpet Galstyan, who is a close associate of Volodia Grigoryan and is known as Marso in the area.
The third individual under arrest is 30-year-old Andranik Bruzyan. A 29-year-old youth, Armen Ghazaryan, who is seen in video footage holding a pistol and is better known in Mezavni as Pz, has not yet been apprehended and is currently wanted by authorities.
The mother of the latter, in an interview with the media, stated that she does not know her son's whereabouts. “I do not justify my son; I’m questioning how we will live in this village afterward. Armen is missing; we do not know where he is, but there is evidence, indeed the weapon is in my son’s hands, but he did not fire; he seized the weapon to prevent shots. I demand an objective investigation. Our home is under surveillance. The village has been divided into two parts by the former and current mayors,” said Rouzanna Ghazaryan.
Rouzanna Ghazaryan has called for justice in her conversation with ArmLur.am.
