Blockades and Difficult Roads in Armenia

Blockades and difficult roads are present in Armenia. The Emergency Services have reported this.

Closed are the roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to K'ari Lake and Amberd Fortress in the Aragatsotn Province.

The Saravan-"Zanger" road from the intersection in the city of Jermuk is closed for trucks with trailers until congestion clears.

The bends in Voskepar, the road from the Noravank intersection to Shinuhey, and the roads to the village of Syunik are closed for trucks with trailers.

The roads in the Syunik Province are impassable due to black ice.

There is black ice on the Jujevan-Voskepar, Gagharot-Jamshlu, and Norashen-Alagyaz roads, as well as in the Dilijan bends (fog).

In the Tavush Province, snow is falling in the towns of Gavar and Chambarak. Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
