Georgian Law Enforcement Expels Armenians from the Country

Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported that Georgian law enforcement agencies expelled 37 foreign citizens, including Armenians, from the country in January.

"Some foreign citizens left Georgia voluntarily, while others were compelled to leave as a result of actions taken by the migration department employees," the Ministry clarified. Among those expelled were citizens from Moldova, Egypt, Armenia, Russia, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, India, Bangladesh, and Nigeria.
