Roads Closed and Impassable in Armenia

Roads are closed and impassable in Armenia. This has been reported by the Rescue Service.

The roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Karni Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed.

The road from the intersection in the city of Jermuk to Saravan-"Zanger" is closed for trucks with trailers until traffic congestion clears.

The Lzen-Tatev-Kapan road is one-way traffic only.

Roads in Syunik Province are difficult to navigate.

On the Jughevan-Voskepat road, in the Dilijan bends, and in the section known as "Zanger" in Norashen, there are patches of black ice.

In Lori Province (except for the city of Alaverdi), in the Razdan region, and in the city of Gavar, there is snowfall.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for trucks.
