Prosecutor Seeks 6-Year Imprisonment for Jalal Harutyunyan

In the Syunik region court, the prosecutor has requested a six-year sentence for Jalal Harutyunyan, the former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, who is accused in the 'D-20 Division' case. This information was shared with CivilNet by Harutyunyan's lawyer, Andranik Mnatsakanyan.
"Such a severe punishment should not be imposed, and if it comes into effect, we will contest it," he stated.
Another lawyer for Harutyunyan, Arsen Sardaryan, conveyed that the court will issue a final court decision tomorrow: "After some time, we will hold a press conference and analyze this significant case."
