Gas Cylinder Explosion in Yeraskh Injures Minor Among Others
On February 6, at 16:02, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue service received information about a gas explosion in one of the houses near the roundabout in the village of Yeraskh. There are reported injuries.
Two fire and rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that the explosion occurred due to a gas leak from a 20 kg gas cylinder in one of the houses on Gortsaranayin Street. Three residents of the house were injured: E. A. (born in 2007), A. A. (born in 1976), and T. K. (born in 1969), who were taken to a medical center.
The rescuers maintained a presence until the gas cylinder was vented. The explosion resulted in damage to the windows and doors of the house.
