Investigative Committee Provides Details on Shooting Incident in Mrdzavan

There have been arrests related to the shooting incident in the village of Mrdzavan, part of the Parakar community in the Armavir province. Kim Avdalyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of Armenia, informed Auroranews about this.

"A criminal case has been initiated under Article 155, Part 1, Article 335, and Article 297, Part 3, as well as Article 44-155, Part 1 of the Criminal Code. There is one injured person and one deceased individual. Two individuals have been arrested," said Avdalyan.

It is noted that shots were fired last night in Mrdzavan, resulting in one death and one injury. The gunfire occurred near the residence of Mrdzavan's administrative head, Mher Akhtoyan. Reports indicate that the deceased is the son of Akhtoyan's aunt, while the injured person is a friend.
