What Did USAID Spend American Taxpayer Money On?

The White House has published a statement revealing several examples of misuse and waste of taxpayer money by USAID:

• $1.5 million to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion in workplaces and business communities in Serbia,
• $70,000 for the production of a diversity, equity, and inclusion musical in Ireland,
• $2.5 million for electric vehicles in Vietnam,
• $47,000 for a "transgender opera" in Colombia,
• $32,000 for "transgender comics" in Peru,
• $2 million for gender reassignment and LGBT activism in Guatemala,
• $6 million to fund tourism in Egypt,
• Hundreds of thousands of dollars to a non-profit organization linked to terrorist organizations,
• Millions of dollars to EcoHealth Alliance, which was involved in research at the Wuhan lab,
• Hundreds of thousands of food packages for militants connected to Al-Qaeda in Syria,
• Funding for "personalized" contraceptives in developing countries,
• Hundreds of millions of dollars to finance irrigation canals, agricultural equipment, and even fertilizers in Afghanistan, which have been used to cultivate poppies and produce heroin for the benefit of the Taliban.

"The waste, fraud, and abuse from the Trump administration are coming to an end," the statement noted.
