Through the Defeat of the 44-Day War, We Have Gained the Opportunity for an Independent, Sovereign State - Pashinyan

Through the defeat of the 44-Day War, we have gained the opportunity to have an independent and sovereign state, Prime Minister Pashinyan stated during a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Washington. “I wouldn’t want us to conclude, as a result of these analyses, that the sacrifice of our fallen heroes has meant nothing. I disagree with that position. Those sacrifices were for the independence and sovereignty of Armenia, and now we must focus on utilizing that sacrifice,” Pashinyan noted.
