«That Would Be the Greatest Mistake of the U.S.»: Abbas Araqchi

“If the United States decides to strike Iran's nuclear facilities, it will be the greatest mistake in the history of that country,” Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated in an interview with Al Jazeera.

“Our nuclear facilities are spread across all of Iran and are equipped with powerful air defense systems. Therefore, I believe such an attack is nearly impossible,” the head of Iranian diplomacy noted.

Moreover, according to Araqchi, if the United States and Israel ultimately decide to strike Iran, it could lead to a large-scale war. “I believe both the Americans and Israelis clearly understand which targets our retaliatory strikes will be directed at. After that, we will find ourselves in a widespread regional war. However, no one, neither in the region nor outside of it, desires such a scenario,” the Iranian Foreign Minister stated.
