Iranian Soil Will No Longer Be Vulnerable, Says President Pezeshkian

The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has reaffirmed his support for the country's defensive capabilities, emphasizing that Iran's military strength serves defensive purposes and ensures national security, reports Mehr.

During a visit to the Ministry of Defense's aerospace industry complex, Pezeshkian highlighted that the government fully supports the development of the country's defense industry, stating that Iran's military advancements deter any external aggression.

On Sunday morning, the Iranian President visited the aerospace division of the Ministry of Defense, where he was briefed on various achievements in the defense and space sectors.

“There was a time when our enemies could freely attack us. During the war (with Iraq), they had unrestricted access to our land and airspace, which allowed them to operate as they wished,” said the Iranian President.

He emphasized that Iran's modern military accomplishments now ensure that Iranian soil will no longer be vulnerable to external threats or ambitions.

Confirming that Iran's military doctrine is defensive in nature, Pezeshkian declared, “Our enemies can no longer subject our people to missile strikes and bombings as they did in the past. What we see here today is a manifestation of Iran’s defensive power aimed at protecting the Islamic Republic, not at attacking others.”

He also stressed Iran's commitment to strengthening its defense capabilities, asserting that Iran will continue to enhance its military strength not to threaten any nation, but to ensure that no country dares to violate its sovereignty.
