Zelensky Responds to Putin's Statement

Today, Putin once again confirmed that he is afraid of negotiations, afraid of strong leaders, and is doing everything to prolong the war. This was stated by the President of Ukraine while commenting on Vladimir Putin's statements that 'you can negotiate with anyone, but due to legitimacy, Zelensky has no right to sign anything.'

Zelensky wrote on Telegram: 'Every step he takes and all of his cynical tricks are aimed at making the war endless. We now see that there is a real opportunity to achieve peace, but it is Putin who is doing everything to either continue the killings in place of broad peace or to take a pause in order to later launch hybrid attacks and prepare for a new large-scale invasion.'

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated in an interview: 'Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is 'illegitimate' and has no right to sign a peace treaty with Russia.' At the same time, Putin did not rule out the possibility of negotiations with Zelensky within the framework of Ukrainian settlement.
