Trump Signs Record Number of Executive Orders
U.S. President Donald Trump, having been in office for only 9 days, has signed a record number of 38 executive orders. This was reported by Axios. No other leader in U.S. history has signed so many orders in such a short period of time. Only former presidents Joe Biden and Harry Truman signed more than 40 orders within their first 100 days.
It is noteworthy that immediately after the ceremonial inauguration on January 20, Trump canceled 78 orders and memoranda from Joe Biden.
