Sodium Lamp Streetlights Replaced by Modern LEDs: Yerevan Municipality

In 2024, all sodium lamp streetlights in the capital's courtyard areas will be replaced with modern LED lights. This was reported by the Yerevan Municipality.

"A total of 10,198 LED lights have been installed and 83,000 meters of cable replaced. The outdoor lighting network has been upgraded on Leo, Kristapor, and Vazgen I streets, as well as in Baghramyan and Komitas avenues. At the same time, overhead cables have been routed through underground conduits on Acharyan, Myasnikyan, Vardanants, Amiryan, Republic, and Tumanyan streets," the statement said.
