Peskov on Assad's Extradition Rumors

Peskov was asked to comment on a report from the Syrian SANA agency regarding the new Syrian authorities seeking compensation from Russia to "restore trust" and requesting the extradition of Assad.

“No, I do not comment on that,” Peskov responded.

It is noteworthy that Reuters reported that the new Syrian leader Ahmad al-Sharaa demanded the extradition of former Syrian President Bashar Assad during a meeting with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister.
