It is a Direct Path to Nuclear War: Volodin

Preparing an assassination attempt against Putin is a direct path to nuclear war. This was stated by the chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, who called for a thorough investigation into American journalist Tucker Carlson's claims that the administration of former President Joe Biden "attempted to kill" Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He noted that Carlson's assertions should be taken seriously. "Yesterday, American journalist Tucker Carlson reported that Biden's administration 'attempted to kill Putin.' This was suggested by former U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. What Carlson has stated should be thoroughly investigated, and both Biden and Blinken should be held accountable," Volodin emphasized.

He added, "Let me provide some facts. Preparations were made to attack Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, which were avoided, an assassination attempt was made against Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and there was an assassination attempt against U.S. President Donald Trump during his campaign. All of these are links in the same chain."

Volodin also pointed out that it has been a day since such statements emerged, yet "everyone is silent": "Neither Biden nor Blinken has denied the claims stated."

The Speaker of the State Duma remarked that preparing an assassination attempt against Putin is a direct path to nuclear war. "Preparing an assassination attempt against Putin, the very discussion of it is a crime. A serious threat to global security. A direct path to nuclear war," Volodin stated, adding that this should serve as a basis for prosecution in all international institutions.

Earlier reports indicated that American journalist Tucker Carlson stated that the Biden administration attempted to kill Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
