We Have Not Forgotten and Will Not Forget Zangezur: Aliyev
If Armenia wishes to implement the "Peace Crossing" project, it must first approach Azerbaijan, because without us, it is merely a "piece of paper." This statement was made by President Ilham Aliyev during a conference dedicated to transportation issues.
"If you really want to implement this project, you must first approach Azerbaijan, because without us, it is simply a piece of paper. Our conditions are fair, based on international law and on Armenia's obligations," he said.
Aliyev added that Azerbaijan is taking practical steps to open the so-called "Zangezur corridor." "We have not forgotten and will not forget Zangezur; we have no territorial claims against Armenia. However, Yerevan must fulfill its obligations by ensuring unhindered passage from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan," Aliyev said.
