Video: What Changes Are Being Made to the Anthem's Lyrics and Why - Pashinyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has posted a video on social media addressing the changes being made to the lyrics of the national anthem. "What changes are being made to the anthem's lyrics and why," Pashinyan wrote alongside the video.

Pashinyan stated that the modification to the anthem's lyrics will conclude not with the lines, "Everywhere death is one, A person must die once, But may [he] die for the freedom of his nation," but with the following: "Look at him - a sacred sign of three colors, Let it always triumph against the enemy of the flag, Let Armenia always be glorious."
