Nikol Pashinyan Meets Renowned Scientist Artem Patapoutian

In Davos, within the framework of the World Economic Forum, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with renowned Armenian scientist, molecular biologist, and neuroscientist Artem Patapoutian, who received the Nobel Prize in 2021. This information was reported by the Armenian government.

The Prime Minister appreciated Mr. Patapoutian's exceptional contributions and achievements in the global scientific community, emphasizing that the development of science and education is one of the strategic priorities of the Armenian Government.

Artem Patapoutian, in turn, noted that during his visit to Armenia, he visited various technological companies and familiarized himself with the potential available in the field of science. He expressed his readiness to support the Armenian Government in the implementation of programs aimed at the development of science and innovation.
