Elon Musk Concludes Speech with Strange Gesture
Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, delivered a brief speech following Donald Trump's inauguration, which ended twice with what has been described as a "Nazi salute," according to Meduza.
"These elections are really important. I just want to thank you for making this possible. Thank you. My heart is with you. Thanks to you, the future of civilization is secured," Musk said on stage at the Capital One Arena in Washington, where the inauguration ceremony had previously taken place.
During his short address, Musk placed his right hand on his chest and sharply raised it, repeating the same gesture for another part of the audience, receiving applause from those present. CNN anchor Erin Burnett characterized Musk's greeting as "strange." Israeli media referred to his gesture as a "fascist salute." Musk himself posted the full footage of his speech on his social media page X, without any commentary.
