Ukraine Could Cease to Exist as a State: Budanov
If peace negotiations do not begin before summer, Ukraine could cease to exist as a state. This was stated by Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, as reported by 'Ukrainskaya Pravda', citing its sources.
According to them, a closed meeting recently took place in the Rada, where the leadership of parliament and factions was briefed by the command of the armed forces on the actual state of military affairs.
Earlier, it was reported that, as Turkish outlet Hurriyet writes, negotiations for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine could begin in April-May of this year, and these are likely to be preceded by a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.
