Preliminary Results of Belarusian Presidential Election Published
According to the preliminary results of the Belarusian presidential election, incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko wins with 86.82% of the votes. This is reported by the Central Election Commission of Belarus.
In 2025, more than 6.9 million people are included in the electoral rolls in the country. Five candidates were registered by the Central Election Commission for the presidency.
Communist candidate Sergey Siranek received 3.21% of the votes, Oleg Gaidukevich (Liberal Democratic Party) received 2.02%, self-nominated Anna Kanopatskaya received 1.86%, and Alexander Khizhnyak (Republican Party of Labor and Justice) received 1.74%.
Alexander Lukashenko has held the presidency since 1994 and will serve in this highest state office for the seventh time.
