Bayramov on the Armenian Constitution

On January 22, a phone conversation took place between Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the United Kingdom's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs David Lammy, according to the Azerbaijan Press Agency (APA).

Bayramov presented the current situation in the region to the American official and discussed the peace process with Armenia, noting that there has been significant progress on the peace agreement and border delimitation issues.

However, the Azerbaijani official again emphasized that the territorial claims remaining within the Armenian Constitution are the main obstacle to the full realization of this process.
