US Secretary of State Calls for Immediate Halt to Conflict between Russia and Ukraine

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that it is essential to immediately halt the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. This was reported by ABC News.

“Listen, this is a complex and tragic conflict that was started by Vladimir Putin. The conflict has caused enormous damage to Ukraine and, in my opinion, to Russia as well, and has destabilized Europe,” Rubio said.

“The only way to resolve these issues is to return to pragmatism and a serious approach, which means diligently working in the field of diplomacy. The US has a role to play here. We have supported Ukraine, but this conflict needs to end,” he added.
