Russian Side Committed to Yerevan, Lavrov
The communication gap between Moscow and Yerevan has been overcome. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
Lavrov noted that the parties have managed to reach mutually acceptable solutions on a number of issues. He emphasized that regular dialogue at the highest level is maintained, recalling last year's meetings between the leaders of the two countries and the recent phone call between Pashinyan and Putin.
Sergey Lavrov expressed hope that today’s negotiations at the level of foreign ministers will help resolve the issues that have arisen recently and have sometimes received inadequate responses in the media.
“We have, as I already said, openly discussed almost the entire spectrum of our relations, as well as regional and international issues,” he noted. According to Lavrov, the Russian side is committed to the entire framework of agreements with Yerevan, including in the military-political sphere.
