Konjoryan Responds to Seyran Ohanyan: 'We Are Criticized for Not Being Imprisoned Yet'
The leader of the My Step faction in the National Assembly, Hayk Konjoryan, has responded to the leader of the opposition Armenia faction, Seyran Ohanyan, stating that the government is often criticized for the fact that certain individuals accused of various crimes have not yet been convicted or imprisoned.
“Our voters and supporters often criticize us, saying that you have not yet been convicted and imprisoned. They ask us why Seyran Ohanyan, as the former Minister of Defense, robbed the army, but is still free and not punished. They also ask why Ohanyan continues to give speeches when he should not be at liberty,” said Konjoryan.
He added that similar criticism is directed at Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, whom they label as “thieves” who have looted Armenia for 20 years and engaged in electoral fraud, yet are not held accountable.
