Proposal to Grant a Road through Syunik to Azerbaijan: Chakhoyan

All roads passing through the sovereign territory of Armenia will be controlled solely and exclusively by the Republic of Armenia. This was stated by Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, on his Facebook page.

“Inspired by Aliyev's statements, ‘national savior’ opposition figures are proposing to immediately grant a road through Syunik to Azerbaijan under the control of a third party. These figures, serving the interests of the empire, are also promoting Azerbaijani rhetoric regarding a corridor. There can be no discussion about any corridor through Armenian territory or any road under the control of any party; roads in Armenia will be controlled solely and exclusively by the Republic of Armenia,” he wrote.
