Russia and Iran Guarantee Non-Application of Restrictions Against Each Other
Russia and Iran guarantee the non-application of coercive measures established against each other, whether directly or indirectly aimed at either party, including physical and legal entities of the respective country. This provision is included in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement signed by the presidents of both countries, according to TASS.
It was noted that Russia and Iran are "against the application of unilateral coercive measures, including extraterritorial in nature, and consider their implementation as illegal and unfriendly actions on the international stage." Earlier, it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed an agreement on the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran.
