New Details on Income Declaration
The State Revenue Committee (SRC) informs that the annual income declaration is submitted through the unified electronic services system for individuals. The system operates both via a web version at self-portal.taxservice.am and through a mobile application. The app is available on the Apple App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android users. When downloading, search for 'Self Portal' in the search field.
It is important to know that in order to use the declaration platform and submit a declaration, you must first have strict electronic identification and an electronic signature. Electronic identification (mID or eID) is necessary to access the declaration system, while an electronic signature is required to make changes to the declaration and approve it.
Access to the unified electronic services system for individuals can be obtained through the 'I am' platform, where identification is carried out in two ways: via mobile phone or with an identification card containing an electronic chip.
If you are submitting the declaration through the web version of the system, you can choose to access it either through mobile identification or with an identification card containing an electronic chip. However, when submitting a declaration via the mobile application, you can only log in using mobile identification.
To obtain mobile phone-based identification, you need to follow these steps: have an identification card (ID Card), and if you do not have one, acquire it from any territorial office of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs. Visit your preferred mobile service operator's service center with your identification card and mobile phone, where your SIM card will be replaced with a new one, and if you change the operator, a new card will be installed.
With the assistance of the operator's service staff and your participation, activate electronic identification. Activate the electronic signature service either at the operator's service center or independently via payment terminals or by visiting ekeng.am.
Ensure you have a valid identification card containing an electronic chip, obtained from the territorial office of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs before February 15, 2023, along with separately supplied PIN and PUK codes.
You will also need an identification card reader, which can be purchased from 'EKENG' LLC (details available at ekeng.am). Visit www.ekeng.am and follow the instructions to activate the electronic card and obtain an electronic signature.
