Former Armenian Defense Minister Establishes New Force

Former Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan writes: "The 'Pan-Armenian Unified Council' announces the launch of the process for creating a new force within the 'Pan-Armenian Front' movement. It is time to unite our efforts, to gather our people around the sole true purpose of ensuring national security and preserving the Armenian statehood.

We will steadfastly and consistently defend our state's national interests and security. The union of soldiers, clergy, and any Armenian concerned about the fate of Armenia will make us stronger and ready to advance Armenia's state interests at all costs and everywhere.

We have arrived because Armenia must restore its former reputation; we have come because Armenia needs to strengthen its military-political ties with allied and friendly countries.

Thus, the 'Pan-Armenian Unified Council' is founded on the triad of Nation-Army-Church, and this unity will herald the beginning of lifting our state from a position of defeat.

Therefore, let us act for the sake of a victorious Republic of Armenia."
