Body of Blago Company Sales Director Found in Russia

The body of Alexander Khaidin, the sales director of the sunflower oil producer Blago, has been discovered in the garage of his home in the Leningrad region, as reported by РИА Новости, citing sources as well as Fontanka and the Baza Telegram channel.

Baza reports that Khaidin was supposed to meet his wife after work, but he had lost contact. It is noted that his body was found by a household staff member who began to search for him after receiving a call from his wife.

According to Baza, moments before, Khaidin had informed his wife that he was summoned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption regarding issues related to the Belarusian company Kubok.

The Blago group of companies told RBC that they have no information regarding the circumstances of Khaidin's death and are not authorized to comment on the incident. It has been mentioned that the company has not received any official inquiries from investigative bodies concerning Khaidin's activities.
