Several People Arrested in Connection with Recent Forest Fires

The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested three individuals for arson related to the recent forest fire areas. This was reported by CBS News.

According to Police Chief Jim McDonnell, the arrests were made following reports from local residents regarding fires set outside the areas affected by the Palisades and Eaton fires.

On Sunday evening, a person was arrested in the North Hollywood neighborhoods for starting a fire with a barbecue lighter. The second arrest occurred on Monday afternoon on Van Nuys Boulevard, where an individual ignited shrubs. The third person was apprehended the same day near San Vicente Boulevard for setting a dumpster on fire.
