After footage of the incident circulated on social media, users began calling for a boycott of the airline. American Frontier Airlines has refunded Khabib Nurmagomedov following the investigation into the incident where he was removed from the flight.

Nurmagomedov described the actions of the flight attendant as provocative, who had requested the athlete to change his seat on the flight to America.
