Serious Consequences Possible: Vanetsyan on Signed Agreement

I have just become acquainted with the document titled 'Strategic Cooperation between Armenia and the USA'. This was stated by the former head of the NSS and president of the 'Homeland' party, Arthur Vanetsyan, on his Facebook page.

'According to the rules of the genre, in the near future, Nikol Pashinyan will announce Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO. In turn, Russia has essentially announced that Armenia cannot have the issue of EU membership on its agenda while remaining a member of the EAEU. It is clear that Nikol Pashinyan's foreign policy continues to reside in the realm of adventurism, threatening to bring about another calamity upon our homeland.

Any state decision should be based on the interests of the homeland and a careful calculation of the results and consequences of that decision. However, in this case, it is obvious that there is an urgency stemming from the interests of others. And this means that there could be serious consequences that we will all bear—without exception,' Vanetsyan wrote.
