Joe Biden on the Ceasefire Agreement Established in Gaza

The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza includes the release of hostages, the cessation of military operations, and the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians, according to a statement from U.S. President Joe Biden. This was reported by TASS.

“This agreement will end the fighting in Gaza, provide urgent humanitarian assistance to Palestinian civilians, and reunite hostages with their families after more than 15 months in captivity,” Biden said.

Biden expressed hope that efforts to ensure peace and security in the region would soon commence, adding that the U.S. would continue its efforts to bring all its citizens back home.

The President also announced that he intends to address this issue soon.
