Strong Winds Expected: Weather Forecast in Armenia

On January 14, the forecast for the territory of the Republic of Armenia indicates dry weather with no precipitation expected for the night of January 18. From January 15 to 17, light snow is anticipated in some regions during the day on January 18.

This information is provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia. On January 14-15, fog is expected in Shirak, Aragatsotn, and Kotayk regions, along with black ice on the roads. Winds from the northwest are predicted at 2-4 m/s, with gusts reaching 15-18 m/s in some areas on January 17-18.

The air temperature is expected to rise by 5-7 degrees, particularly during the night on January 15-16. In Yerevan, dry weather is forecasted on January 14 and January 17-18. On January 15-16, light and brief precipitation is possible.

During the day on January 14, temperatures in the capital will range from -1 to +1 degrees Celsius, while in the evening, temperatures are expected to register between 0 and 2 degrees Celsius.
