China Southern Cancels Flights from Moscow to Beijing

China Southern Airlines has canceled flights from Moscow to Beijing starting from the end of January, which may affect the travel plans of 15,000 to 17,000 individuals. Tour operators are offering alternatives to organized tourists, according to a statement from the Russian Association of Tour Operators. This report is covered by ТАСС.

"According to the airline's website and booking system data, this airline will not operate direct flights between the capitals of Russia and China from January 20 to March 30, until the end of the winter schedule," the association stated. It is noted that this period coincides with the Chinese New Year. Additionally, it has been reported that tickets for the carrier's last flight (on January 19) cost over 217,000 rubles.
