Fire Erupts at Supermarket on Northern Avenue

On January 12, at 08:34, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a fire in the storage area of a supermarket on Northern Avenue. This was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Situations Department.

Four firefighting units from the Emergency Situations Department of Yerevan and an emergency medical team were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 09:00 and extinguished by 09:28. In the storage area of the supermarket (approximately 10 square meters), food items (about 4 cubic meters), electrical wires (around 5 grams), and 2 refrigerators were thermally damaged.
