Slovak Prime Minister Calls Zelensky a Beggar

During a meeting of the European Affairs Committee, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a beggar and an extortionist, expressing that he is already "tired of him." The Prime Minister shared a corresponding video on his Facebook page.

"He runs all over Europe, just begging and extorting, asking for money from others," Fico stated. He added that "this nonsense needs to stop immediately." On Wednesday, Fico also accused Zelensky of harming the EU by halting the transit of Russian gas. According to him, the leader of the Kyiv regime is intentionally harming the financial interests of Slovakia and the European Union, although the European Commission has indicated that neither sanctions nor European law prevent Ukraine from continuing the transit.
