Los Angeles Fires Linked to Aid for Ukraine, Claims Trump Jr.
The newly elected U.S. president's son, Donald Trump Jr., has explained why firefighting services have been unable to extinguish the ongoing wildfires.
Trump Jr. stated that the fires in Los Angeles are connected to the assistance provided to Ukraine. He republished a message indicating that, following Russia's invasion in March 2022, the U.S. supplied some firefighting equipment to Ukraine.
“Oh… look. Of course, the Los Angeles fire department sent equipment to Ukraine,” he wrote on social media.
Businessman Elon Musk also shared the post.
Earlier reports indicated that wildfires in the U.S. have reduced hundreds of homes to ashes in Los Angeles, and California firefighters are struggling to combat the blaze that has erupted in the area.
