Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson has responded to the statements made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. “So what does all this really mean? Mr. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, let your actions speak louder than words. Interestingly, your 'peaceful narrative' avoids the most critical pillar for establishing sustainable peace and stability in the region: respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states.

If Armenia is genuinely interested in establishing peace with its neighbors, why do you refuse to abandon claims to the territories that you all call 'Western Armenia' and 'the Republic of Artsakh,' as enshrined in your Constitution and national legislation? Forgive me, but your argument cannot be considered a confirmation of Armenia's 'good intentions,'” he said.
